02Hotel Reservation Platform
— Flagship Build

FastRoomz.

Architect • Full-Stack • DevOps

End-to-end hotel booking platform. I shipped every layer — four distinct product surfaces, the Node.js/Fastify backend, and the AWS infrastructure it runs on. Vast scope, real-world complexity, owned solo.

— Surfaces I shipped

Platform Admin

Onboard, monitor and impersonate hotel admins. Subscription management, enable/disable accounts, role gating, geo-mapping of properties via Leaflet.

Hotel Admin

Channel manager (multi-OTA sync), rooms with rates / restrictions / inventory, taxes, promotions, promocodes, policies, packages, side-activities, user & booking management.

Booking Engine

Next.js on Vercel. Dynamic theming (font, color, logo, banner, CTA), dynamic payment gateways, FB / Google analytics, taxes & policies — all driven by per-property config.

Booking Widget

Embeddable script the hotel pastes into their site. Guests pick rooms / dates / occupancy and get handed off to the booking engine seamlessly.

Backend

Node.js + Fastify, Prisma ORM, Redis + BullMQ for queues/jobs, on AWS EBS. High-throughput APIs powering all four surfaces.

DevOps

Route53, CloudFront for both admin panels, ACM certs, S3 storage, dev/prod environments on Vercel, GitHub Actions CI/CD for backend + UI, Hostinger DB.

Mode

Currently

Architect-led

01

Own the whole surface.

UI, backend, infra — they’re one product. I design across them so the seams disappear and shipping speed compounds.

02

Stabilise, then scale.

Before adding the next thing, I kill the regressions, tighten the contracts, and make the existing system boring in the best way.

03

Configuration over fork.

Multi-tenant by default. Themes, payments, policies, taxes — driven by data, not by branches in code.

04

Ship in production.

Demo videos don’t count. CI/CD, dev/prod parity, real users on real domains — that’s the bar.
